BitAngels Unites Top Blockchain Leaders at Dubai Tech Tuesdays During Token2049
BitAngels Dubai brought together top blockchain investors, Web3 founders, and crypto innovators for a high-impact pitch event with Dubai Tech Tuesdays during Token2049 2025.
Set against the glittering Dubai Opera backdrop, the 43rd edition of Dubai Tech Tuesdays unfolded, transforming the elegant Belcanto Restaurant into a nexus of innovation, conversation, and connection. With over 1,200 attendees, this special edition, produced in collaboration with BitAngels and Invest Web3 Forum (IWF), cemented its status as one of the week’s premier gatherings during TOKEN2049 Dubai.
The event ran well past 1:30 a.m., with guests staying late into the night to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the energy of the Dubai blockchain community. Gordon Einstein, with his partners Mohammed Siam and Iryna Erzen, delivered an unforgettable presentation that truly knocked it out of the park. With the added energy and insight from Roc Zacharias and Richard Stangland, BitAngels brought new momentum to an already thriving Dubai Tech Tuesdays scene, making this edition one of the most memorable to date.
An Evening of Ideas and Impact
Guests were welcomed into a candlelit setting of curated conversation, networking, and strategic exchange. The venue's opulent atmosphere matched the quality of discourse, where blockchain builders, global investors, and technologists explored the future of Web3 in real time.
This event was proudly sponsored by MultiBank Group, a global leader in financial derivatives established in California in 2005. It serves over 2 million clients across 100 countries and is regulated by 17 financial authorities across five continents. The Group is now making a decisive move into the Web3 arena with a platform designed to support a three-pillar ecosystem, enabling fee payments, customer loyalty rewards, and seamless digital settlements across MultiBank FX (retail), MEX Exchange (institutional), and MultiBank.io (retail crypto).
Our media partner, Myco, also took the spotlight with co-founder Tariq Jaser detailing the platform’s mission to bring the next billion users into Web3 through blockchain-powered content ownership. From film to sports to influencer-generated media, Myco is building a decentralized future for entertainment, where users can earn, stream, and own.
Keynote Speakers: Visionaries at the Helm
The night’s featured segment, “BitAngels Dubai Edition,” brought several industry leaders to the stage:
Michael Terpin, CEO and Co-Founder of BitAngels and Founder of Transform Ventures, delivered a keynote that reflected both depth and foresight. As the force behind Transform Ventures, a blockchain and AI venture studio, Terpin shared insights from portfolio projects like OpenCarbon, an enterprise-grade carbon offset marketplace utilizing blockchain and AI/LLM, and First Block, a platform focused on financial and news distribution within the crypto space.
Michael also serves as a partner in Alpha Transform Ventures and is the founder of Transform Group, the largest advisory and marketing firm in the cryptocurrency industry. Transform Group has been instrumental in launching some of the most influential blockchain platforms to date, including Ethereum, Tether, Augur, Bancor, Gnosis, Golem, Neo, Qtum, and WAX. A true pioneer, Terpin also co-founded BitAngels, the first crypto angel network. Based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was the recipient of the first Act 22 tax decree granted in the blockchain industry.
Brock Pierce is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist known for founding, advising, and investing in disruptive businesses. He co-founded Blockchain Capital, Tether, BlockOne, the EOS Alliance, and Mastercoin, the first ICO. Pierce served as Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation and was a major investor in both Bitcoin and Ethereum. His ventures include IGE, ZAM, and IMI Exchange, with exits to Tencent and Goldman Sachs-backed buyers. He helped launch the first security token and ICO for a venture fund. A frequent speaker at global conferences, Pierce is also active in philanthropy, supporting organizations focused on civil liberties and judicial reform.
Matthieu Merchadou, CEO of Magma, followed with a bold vision for real estate’s digital transformation. His platform uses blockchain and AI to create digital twins of properties, revolutionizing transactions from Paris to Miami to Dubai. Magma’s approach fuses spatial computing and tokenization to reshape how we understand, trade, and interact with physical spaces.
